Spanish Class Offerings
ELEMENTARY SPANISH A (1st-2nd) - Alexis Girling
Description:
*30 minute class
Class Overview:
This class is designed to introduce young learners to Spanish in a fun and engaging way. Through music, games, and stories, students will learn basic vocabulary such as colors, animals, and daily activities.
Additional Information:

No prior Spanish experience is required.

Students do not need to know how to read or write.

No homework will be assigned.

Optional activities may be sent home for families who wish to continue practice.

All art supplies are provided by the teacher.
ELEMENTARY SPANISH B (3rd-5th) - Alexis Girling
Description:
*30 minute class
Class Overview:
This class builds on foundational Spanish skills through music, games, stories, and notebook work. Students will learn verbs, telling time, family vocabulary, and daily routines. Prayer memorization will also be incorporated.
Additional Information:

Students are expected to complete worksheets and return them for review.

At least 10 minutes of at-home practice, 2–3 days per week, is recommended.

Students should be able to write and use scissors and glue.

All class supplies are provided by the teacher.
MID LEVEL SPANISH (5th-7th) - Alexis Girling
Description:
Class Overview:
This class builds on foundational Spanish skills through music, games, stories, and notebook work. Students will learn verbs, telling time, family vocabulary, and daily routines. Prayer memorization will also be incorporated.

HIGHER LEVEL SPANISH (8th-12th) - Alexis Girling
Class Overview:
This class focuses on strengthening speaking, reading, and writing skills. Students will work on pronouns, verb conjugations, and explore Spanish-speaking cultures and countries. Learning will be reinforced through interactive activities, reading, and conversation practice. The Lord’s Prayer will also be practiced in Spanish.

Students should have prior experience with Spanish.

Regular homework (reading and writing) is required.

Students should plan for 15–20 minutes of at-home practice, 3 times per week to support memorization and pronunciation.
