Tech Class Offerings
ELEMENTARY TECH (4th-6th) - Jeremy Lubich
Description:
Elementary Tech introduces students to the foundations of computer programming and problem-solving through block-based coding, algorithms, and Minecraft-style learning environments. Students will explore creative design using Tinkercad and finish the course by bringing their ideas to life with hands-on 3D printing projects. The class emphasizes logical thinking, creativity, and confidence with technology in a fun, supportive setting. This course runs for 30 weeks, meets for 1 hour per session, and is limited to 8 students per class. Tuition is $220, plus a $45 materials fee.
APPLIED TECHNOLOGY LEVEL 1 (6th -12th) - Jeremy Lubich
Description:
Applied Tech Level 1 is designed for students who are new to programming, CAD, electronics, and robotics. Students will learn core skills in coding, 3D design, basic circuitry, and robotics through hands-on projects that build technical confidence and problem-solving abilities. The course focuses on understanding how technology systems work and how different tools connect together. Optional (but strongly encouraged) homework helps students reinforce concepts and progress more quickly. This course meets for 1.5 hours per session and costs $330, plus a $90 supply fee.
APPLIED TECHNOLOGY LEVEL 2 (6th -12th) - Jeremy Lubich
Description:
Applied Tech Level 2 is for students who have completed Level 1 and are ready for more advanced, challenging projects. Students will work with machine learning concepts such as vision systems and maze-solving algorithms, along with collaborative mesh and networked devices that solve complex problems together. Emphasis is placed on systems thinking, teamwork, and real-world engineering challenges. Homework is required in this course to ensure student success and project completion. This course meets for 1.5 hours per session and costs $330, plus a $90 supply fee
